Advertising Policy

Date: 20 June 2026

Ads may help pay for the hosting and maintenance that keep these tools free. They do not buy a better place in a comparison or a more favorable calculator result. This page explains the line we draw between advertising and the work on the Site.

Editorial and calculator independence

Advertisers do not receive control over calculator formulas, default assumptions, pricing tables, organic comparisons, conclusions, or corrections. Calculator results are generated from user inputs and maintained data, not payment. We do not sell favorable rankings or remove accurate criticism in exchange for advertising.

Identification and placement

Paid placements and advertisements will be identified where required and visually distinguishable from navigation, calculator controls, download buttons, and results. We do not intentionally place ads so that they are likely to be mistaken for Site content or clicked accidentally. Ad density and placement should preserve meaningful content and normal Site use.

Google products and other ad networks

Google products or another third-party network may select, deliver, measure, and report on ads. Ad networks and advertisers are responsible for their creatives, landing pages, claims, and data practices. We do not guarantee or endorse advertised products. Google advertising-cookie, opt-out, DART, vendor, and regional consent disclosures are provided in our Privacy Policy.

Invalid traffic and prohibited interaction

Users must not click ads to support the Site, repeatedly click ads, use automated tools to create impressions or clicks, encourage other people to click, or otherwise manipulate ad delivery or measurement. We do not compensate users for viewing or clicking ads. Suspected invalid traffic may be blocked or reported to the advertising provider.

Sponsorships and affiliate links

A sponsorship or affiliate relationship will be disclosed where required. Affiliate links may generate a commission without increasing the user's price. Compensation does not guarantee positive coverage. Any factual product claims remain subject to verification, and users should evaluate the provider's current terms independently.

Privacy and consent

Advertising providers may use cookies and similar technologies subject to consent and opt-out requirements. Where required for users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google ads must be supported by a Google-certified consent management platform. See the Privacy Policy for details and choices.

Advertising concerns

To report a deceptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or poorly placed advertisement, email [email protected] with the page URL, approximate time, country, and a screenshot if possible. We may not control every ad shown, but we can investigate and raise concerns with the provider.
